MANCHESTER loan broker Freedom Finance has been bought by an investor which owns a financial services software firm with operations in Chester and Preston.The SOF Annex Fund, described Freedom as the UK’s largest personal loan broker and said the transaction was part of a strategic growth plan for an existing portfolio company called the Target Group. The value of the deal was not disclosed.Target has its headquarters in Cardiff and a number of other offices including a mortgage servicing operation in Chester and a development team.
